Tours of Roedde House Museum

Tours of the House are offered Wednesday to Friday from 2pm to 4 pm. The cost is $4 for adults, $3 for seniors, students and children, and free for children under 3.

As the Roedde House Museum is available for private, special-event rental, please call 604-684-7040 to confirm the availability of a tour for the particular afternoon of your choice.

October 22, 2005: Trio Accord
Vancouver Symphony Orchestra members Mary Sokol Brown, violin, Andrew Brown, viola and Joseph Elworthy, cello present J.S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations and Mozart’s Seminal E flat major Divertimento for strings.

November 26, 2005: Vuillaume Duo with Kenneth Broadway, Piano
Husband and wife Vancouver Symphony Orchestra violinists, Brent and Marka Akins are joined by superb pianist Kenneth Broadway in a program that includes gems like Pablo Sarasate’s “Navarra” and a Suite for Two Violins by Mauritz Moszkowski.

December 17 2005: Synergy
Synergy, the 12 voice a cappella ensemble of the Vancouver Men's Chorus will serenade you with holiday classics and contemporary bonbons, all arranged for the rich warm sound of male voices in harmony.

January 21, 2006: Tiresias Duo
Award winning Flautist Mark McGregor and Pianist Rachel Iwaasa explore the far reaches of their repertoire. They present, among others, Prokofiev’s sublime Sonata for flute and piano and Debussy’s Chansons de Bilitis.

February 18, 2006: Glasgerryon Garden
Prepare to be transported by a delightful and touching program of music for voice and celtic harp featuring inveterate classical music performers, Phoebe MacRae, soprano & Rebecca Blair, celtic harp.

March 11, 2006: Stravinsky Trio
Featuring Karen Gerbrecht, violin, AK Coope, clarinet and Monica Pfau, piano, the Stravinsky Trio will present Igor Stravinsky’s seminal Suite from L’Histoire du Soldat, the haunting Largo by Charles Ives and the Russian Trio by Aram Khatchaturian.

April 22, 2006: Graham Boyle Trio
The Graham Boyle Trio: Ross Taggart, piano, Rene Worst, bass and Graham Boyle, vibraphone, presents classic film and show music of the 20th Century. Jerome Kern, Henry Mancini, Johnny Mandel and Cy Coleman will all be represented.

May 20, 2006: Vancouver Symphony Wind Trio
Principal Vancouver Symphony Orchestra woodwinds Roger Cole, oboe, Jeanette Jonquil, clarinet and Julia Lockhart, bassoon join to perform the best-known woodwind trios of the twentieth century by such French luminaries as Jacques Ibert, Jean Françaix and Henri Tomasi.

Performances are on Saturday at 2pm. Doors open at 1:30pm

Refreshments will be served at intermission and after the concert.
Tickets are $19 for adults $17 for seniors, and $12 for students.
Season Tickets: 4 performances for only $68 for adults or $60 for seniors
Seating is limited, so purchase your tickets as soon as possible!
