Book Talk & Tea with Mrs. Claus: A Holiday Literary Event!

Roedde House Members and friends are invited to join local author Pamela McColl for an enchanting evening presentation on the one and only Wondrous Mrs. Claus. The Christmas character will be discussed, along with the works written by such notable writers as Katherine Lee Bates, and enjoy hearing of her role in the suffrage movement in the late 19th century. Pamela will read excerpts of the stories and poetry.
The two titles – Wondrous Mrs. Claus – A Literary and Pictorial Review of the Christmas Character and What Would Mrs. Claus Do? – Where There Is A Wish There Is A Way will be available for purchase with a percentage in support of Roedde House.
This event is free to Roedde House members – please register as we only have a limited amount of seats available! Members are welcome to register 2 tickets per membership. Please bring your membership card as they will be checked at the door!

Memberships are valid for one year and expire on the anniversary date of your subscription.
Accessibility: Roedde House has a wheelchair accessible entrance through its side kitchen door (facing the gazebo). Please alert staff and we will guide you to this entrance. Washrooms are on the main floor and includes a wheelchair accessible washroom. Stairs are required to reach the second floor.
Getting to the Museum: Limited street parking is available on Robson and in the West End. For public transit, the closest skytrain station is: Burrard. We are on the #5 Robson bus route.
