Jazz Series

In keeping with the Roedde family’s love of music, Roedde House Museum presents monthly jazz concerts under Artistic Director, Dan Reynolds. Dan is an experienced jazz musician, regularly writing music, teaching with the VSO School of Music, and performing; he has his own personal connection to Roedde House, as the grandson of one of the founding members of the Roedde House Preservation Society and author of “More Than a House”, Janet Bingham.

Under Dan’s stewardship, the jazz series regularly books local duos and trios for evening concerts in the historic 1893 parlour of the Roedde House Museum. This room has wonderful acoustics and is where the Roedde family often entertained on their grand piano. The unique setting offers an intimate performance space that is hard to find elsewhere!
