Experience an intimate evening of live jazz in Roedde House’s historical Victorian parlour!

We are pleased to welcome the Steve Lloyd Smith Quartet to the Roedde House parlour this month. This month’s lineup features artists: Andrew Skepasts on guitar, Jillian Lebeck on piano, Steve Smith on bass, and Nick Bracewell on drums.

For over three decades Bassist/Composer/Bandleader Steve Lloyd Smith has had the privilege of writing over a hundred and twenty-five songs including fifteen suites, and the honour of releasing fifteen albums as a leader with some of the best musicians in New York (Richie Beirach, Billy Hart, Adam Rogers, Clarence Penn, Taylor Eigsti, Eric Harland, Aaron Parks, Joe Dyson, Dayna Stephens, Victor Gould, and Marcus Gilmore) and Vancouver (Dave Say, Kevin Elaschuk, Lisa Cay Miller, Dylan van der Schyff, Dave Sikula, Tom Foster, Jillian Lebeck, Paul Townsend, Chris Gestrin, Joe Poole, Dave Robbins, Andrew Skepasts, Dan Reynolds, and Nicholas Bracewell).

The concert will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a 30-minute intermission during which tea and cookies will be available.

Limited street parking is available on Robson and in the West End. Parking spots are scarce in the neighbourhood, so give yourself some extra time or use public transportation. (Closest Skytrain station: Burrard. We are on the #5 Robson bus route).

Ticket holders should arrive 10 minutes prior to showtime to secure seats.
