Jazz on the Porch kicks off on June 26th at 7pm!
Join us off the side porch of Roedde House as we move our Jazz series outside for our first concert of the summer! Experience an intimate evening of live jazz outside of Roedde House Museum. We are pleased to welcome Bem Bem Beo with Fran Jaré, Al Johnston & Nick Apivor.
The concert will start at 7 pm.
Admission is by donation!

Bem Bem Beo – Spicy Salsa, Latin, Brazilian, Afro-Latin Music
The ultimate Latin Jazz Exploration has such diversification of repertoire, from Brazilian, Afro-Latin to some uniquely arranged Classics like Malagueña, Choro, (originated in the 19th century – precursor to Samba and Bossa Nova) paying homage to luminaries such as: Antonio Carlos Jobim, Chucho Valdez, Cal Trader, Latin standards plus the trio’s originals. C’mon down to experience this very vibrant, musical and rhythmic genre with us. Olé!
Fran Jaré – Enchanting pianist/composer embraces a myriad of influences. Her warm smoky, vocal naivety with a few songs, beguiles the listener. A delicious popourri from proficient piano nostalgia and contemporary Jazz & Latin repertoire with her own arrangements. Nick Apivor is an “Alchemist of Sound” playing Vibraphone, Marimba, Congas and a plethora of percussion instruments. His expertise on percussion is a dynamic show unto itself. Al Johnston, bass, recorded with Orquesta La Clave, Grammy winner Lala Rodriquez, NY Salsa legend….
