Pianist/singer Luke Sandford grew up on Vancouver Island, where he studied classical music with Martha Reuter. He has played professionally in Vancouver, Montreal, Barcelona, Berlin, London and New York, where he performed in piano bars for many years. His debut recording, “Shimmer”, was released in 2000, followed by “Echoes” in 2010. His more recent original releases, “Lukejazz” and “Lukerock”, were recorded during lockdown in 2020-2021 and feature contributions by leading session musicians from New York, London, Barcelona and Tel Aviv. Luke is known for his wide-ranging blend of pop, rock, jazz standards and show tunes. His music and videos are now available on YouTube, Spotify and other streaming services.
