Join us for a spirited evening of crime and wine!

Local true crime writer Aaron Chapman will speak on Vancouver’s early crime history, particularly in our own backyard of the West End. Afterward, enjoy some wine and cheese, and chatting with the author.

Aaron Chapman is a Vancouver writer, historian and musician. His local true crime novels include: The Last Gang in Town; Liquor, Lust and the Law, and Vancouver Vice: Crime and Spectacle in the City’s West End.

Roedde House was built in 1893 for the family of Gustav Roedde and his family. The house was designed by architect Francis Rattenbury, and the family lived in the home from 1893 to 1920. The museum reflects the family’s time in the house during the 1890s and early 1900s.

Important Info:

  • Ticket holders should arrive on time to secure seats.
  • Capacity will be limited.
  • Limited street parking is available on Robson and in the West End. Parking spots are scarce in the neighbourhood, so give yourself some extra time or use public transportation. (Closest Skytrain station: Burrard. We are on the #5 Robson bus route).
